Getting Started

How do I get started?

The easiest first step is booking a free 15-minute exploratory call. It's a no-pressure conversation to see if we're a good fit, ask any questions, and figure out what kind of support makes sense for you.

What should I expect in the initial session?

The initial 50-minute session is a thorough assessment. We'll cover your health history, current eating patterns, lifestyle, and goals. By the end, you'll have a clear, actionable plan to move forward.

Do you offer telehealth or in-person sessions?

Both! Telehealth sessions are available to anyone in Washington State via video call. In-person home visits are available across Greater Seattle — from Lynnwood to Burien, east to Issaquah.

Sessions & Pricing

How much do sessions cost?

The free exploratory call is 15 minutes at no charge. The initial 50-minute session is $175. Follow-up sessions are $150 each. Home visit services (kitchen refresh, meal planning strategy, grocery tour) are $200 each.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals and starting point. Many clients find significant value in 4–6 sessions over a few months, while others prefer ongoing monthly check-ins. We'll discuss what makes sense for your situation after the initial assessment.

Do you offer packages?

Contact Liz to ask about any current package options or discounted rates for prepaid sessions.

Insurance & Billing

Do you accept insurance?

Please contact Liz directly for current information about insurance acceptance. Nutrition counseling is covered by some insurance plans, particularly for specific diagnoses. She can help you understand your options.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

In many cases, yes — nutrition counseling with an RDN is an eligible expense for HSA and FSA accounts. Check with your plan provider to confirm.

Approach & Philosophy

What is your nutrition philosophy?

Evidence-based and practical. No fad diets, no restriction for restriction's sake, no one-size-fits-all plans. The goal is to understand your unique body and build sustainable habits that you can maintain for life — not just until the next trend comes along.

Do you prescribe specific diets?

No. Liz tailors recommendations to each individual based on their health history, goals, lifestyle, and preferences. The focus is on what works for you, not a prescribed system.

What is nutrigenomic testing?

Nutrigenomic testing analyzes how your unique genetic makeup influences your nutritional needs and how your body responds to different foods and nutrients. It's a powerful tool for personalizing your nutrition plan. Ask about this service during your consultation.
